Our community is honored to have been recognized for its Penrose Harbor Assisted Living and Independent Living communities as a 2020 Choice Community by Holleran, a leading research firm specializing in engagement and satisfaction studies in the senior living space.
Residents and employees of more than 700 communities were surveyed by Holleran, which recognized the top 15th percentile of the most engaging senior living organizations in the country. Honored for exemplary efforts in creating a culture of engagement and satisfaction despite the pandemic, Heron’s Key was ranked at the top of senior living communities.

The award really exemplifies the effort that the staff at Heron’s Key and Penrose Harbor has put into making sure that the needs of the residents are met and even exceeded, especially during one of the most difficult times.
